18+gang
18+gang is the name of a group of 15 young people (0ver 18 years old) who have been in Mesnali from the 19th to the 24th Mars for Easter hollyday. They came from Norway, Cameroon, Madagascar(Hald) and Polish. Near by the Familly Camp, they were spendindnig the Holly week in sharing God's Word, life experiences, sport(basketball and football, ski) and Easter celebration in different land.
It was an occasion for some to learn from other countries many tings like making påske egg, waffler ...
Glwadis (from Madagaskar), trying to get the way painfully between branches.Everyone met finally in a wooden house well prepared and there each could share about his own exprience during this walk.
Sunday moorning will be a new day. At 4 am everybody woke up and prepared onse for the next walk up to the mountain to see the new sun (when Jesus won the grave). It was -24 and the marche should be hard for africans; however we did and the result was a great success up on the hill (great joy). We arrived accuratelty at the time the sun started to appear very elegantly in the horizon with a beautifull colour (symbolising happiness...).A Sunday service took place! We could feel a real blessing in this place. It was like one familly and people looked at each other with true smiles. We shared some hot chocolate, took pictures and went down after that with a lot of funs. 18+ drove back home around 7.00 am.
The evaluation of the camp happened and the appreciation is good in general. Glwadis from Madagascar presented our school Hald and everything seem to be interresting for our folk.
The whole meeting was under the control of Turvik to who we're giving geat tanks for her good planning.
An Easter never lived before like this for many of us. The full spiritual sense that took all the stay in Mesnali gave 18+ a feeling of a united familly that, leaving from each other, became harder than broken heart. Nevertheless we won and gave warm Hugs to each and left with reminding images.
We tank everlastingly our Lord for his Great love to us.
Charles.

In Saturday night, people went trough the forest two by two on a lot of snow. They were oriented by candels which indicated a specific point in the darkness, and there you could find some significant symboles or pictures about Easter and share little bit with your compagnon. The ways shown really how difficult was walking Jesus with all our sins in this period by its complexity to get to the next candle in the darkne and cold forest. Your partner was very needed and helpfull for this walk between rocks and over unseen gaps (there we understood why did Jesus send his disciples two by two in the world for the mission).
