Misjonsnar?

From left to rigth: Charles (Cameroon), Thiago (Brazil), Sak (Laos) and Rock (Madagascar)

They were teaching in the confirmation classes of Mandal. About 15 students from Hald were presenting something about mission and the christian's life during 210 minutes in different ways ( songs, drama, speeches, testimonies...).

For me it was an exiting thing to take part of these students and to be called Missionar for the first time in my life. I realised that those who dream to do that work can, one day, see there dream becoming rea. God can use you if you want really to serve him, and He provides everything you will need for this job.
My team spetially wondered me by the particularity of each of us, when is came to do something in your turn. We had each something new from our country and churhes ( Cameroon, Brazil, Madagaskar and Laos). This five gys shared with "Konfirmater" on the christian's responsability as missionaries through the world, the testimony, how do different organitions work in the Mission organisation in Norway and the possibility to join them.

After three teachings of 30 minutes each, the internatinnal missionar team left very happily and honored by the priest who was so greatfull. This is a great encouragement to follow that JOB.

Sunday Service at Hald.

It was snowing since two days in the South of Norway and there is about 70cm high of snow. The land is almost white and we don't hear so much noises except some seldom cars. It looks very nice and we Africans students are enjoying that by playing snow war.

Yesterday our trip was cancelled because there is too much snow and the bus could not drive. It was really sad but we just stayed home.

Today is Sunday and we were supposed to have service in the Big Wooden Church in the Mandal Town. Until now the ice is not gone and people can't walk. But this is not the problem today that can make hald's students changing their plan, maybe just modifying it. Students in infield courses will have their own service in the Big hall. Since 10.30Am some students are asking already Paulette ( the staff assistant) to open the door. They are all ready. Soon 15 of the 26 are present in the room and the thing is still going on. Sammy from Keyna greets his friends and prays before they start by worships songs. Then some of our members presented their testimony. It was very emotionnal to hear a friend from Thailand giving his testimony about how difficult is it to be Christian in his land, specially if you were Budhist like him before. Howevere he ended by tenking Jesus for the truth He brough to his familly and him and asked Brothers and Siters to continue praying for him.

After a very quiet moment listinnig to this courrageous guy, I cryed little bit and ask myself if we could have this possibility of sharing if we went to the church today. Then we had a Speech of Joseph from Keyna in Genese 4:1-16 where he summarized by, we should not be angry, neither have downcast face like Cain, but should do what is right in order to be accepted, if not the sin is crouching at our dooor; it desires to have us but we must master it. We continue praying for each other and singing happily.

Even without a priest we had a very rich sunday service fulled of blessing. We spent 90min, not watching a football match, but sanctifying the sunday as we could. I though that day it was special and that is why I am writing this like my first publishing in the blog.
